That’s the part I love. People came for dinner and left with another plan together. That's something I hope more of us get to experience.
If you've been reading these invitations and wondering whether Dinner Club is for you, you don't need to be new here. You don't need to bring someone, either.

You turned on a tap this morning. Put the bin out. Walked on a sidewalk, or wished there was one. Drove over a pothole. Waited for a bus that comes every twenty minutes instead of every ten. That's five, and not one of them was made in Ottawa. All five get handed to somebody new this month, for four years.
Cambridge has been voting since September 26. Everywhere else opens between October 10 and 16, so the window to find anything out is about ten days.
I didn't vote last time. This year I am doing the homework: your date, the free meetings left, and six questions about your water, your rent and your bus, with the reason each one matters.

Volunteers who visit isolated seniors and adults with physical disabilities can now borrow on their match's behalf, and not just books: puzzles, board games, activity kits, movies and digital newspapers from around the world. Waterloo is the first mid-size city in Ontario ever to hold platinum Bicycle Friendly Community status. Only Waterloo and Ottawa got it at this year's Ontario Bike Summit, and they are the first platinums awarded since the program started in 2010. Waterloo had been sitting at gold since 2018. More

You found the perfect shade online. Then it goes on your wall and somehow looks yellow. Or blue. Or nothing like the photo.
Cheryl’s advice before any home refresh: bring samples into the room first. Move a paint sample between walls and look at it in morning and evening light. Hold tile, wallpaper or fabric next to what’s already there. The pieces have to work together in your space, not just on a screen.
A little sampling now could save a whole lot of “why did we choose this?” later.
