Ontario Summer Games: Waterloo Region 2026
Ontario's largest multi-sport event takes over the region for the Civic Holiday weekend, with roughly 4,200 athletes aged 12 to 18 competing in 23 sports at more than 19 venues. From archery, soccer, hockey, rugby, basketball, box lacrosse, triathlon, to road cycling through Wellesley Township. Most events are open to spectators.

Multiple activities on King Street
King Street West between College and Young is closed to cars for two more days. From splash pad, Kids' zone, cornhole, live music, the Love Local Market plus Kitchener Market artisan vendors, Latin music and dance, Loteria hosted by comedian and chef Eduardo Perez, to a dance lesson and social right after.
