When you're getting ready to sell your home in Waterloo Region, the simplest and least expensive updates are usually the ones that go the furthest. After 10 years of helping people buy and sell across our three cities and four townships, I
get the same question from sellers every week: should I renovate the kitchen before listing? And 90% of the time, my answer is no. Here are the 8 things that worked for my last few sellers - small, low-cost prep work that made the biggest
difference at offer time.

Nothing on this list took a lot of money, and while it took some time, I was there to help based on each seller's capacity. Whether it was sourcing a light or a paint colour, or helping organize storage and cleaning, I met them where they were and tailored my service accordingly.
